Jasmine Loney is an ordained interfaith minister. She has been a Reiki practitioner since 1997 and after two and a half years as a Master Candidate was initiated as a teaching Master in 2006 by Carol von Kaenel. For 25 years she had a private practice in central Pennsylvania where she offered Reiki, massage therapy, cranio-sacral therapy, and spiritual companionship.
She is a graduate of One Spirit Interfaith Seminary in New York City and was ordained in 2009. After completing a year-long Clinical Pastoral Education Residency program, she became a chaplain at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, PA, where she offered her unique services for several years in the OB/GYN and Neonatal Intensive Care Units as well as Trauma Services. Both in her private practice and at the hospital, she practiced Reiki as ‘spiritual midwifery’, supporting moms in bringing new life into the world, supporting babies as they healed in the NICU or as they passed from this life, as well as others in their dying process.
After having a personal meditation practice for over three decades, Jasmine completed a two-year Teacher Certification program and a Mindfulness Mentor Training program with Tara Brach and Jack Kornfield and is now a Certified Mindfulness Meditation Teacher and Mentor. Throughout her career in various roles, she has guided countless individuals toward holistic healing. Jasmine retired from her chaplaincy position in 2019 and currently offers her services in person and via online platforms.
