DESCRIPTION:Overview of the Series: How do we harness the power of Reiki to build healthy communities? \nBased upon a belief that collaborative communities are a key towards solving the challenges that humanity and earth face\, Robert Kramps and his guests explore the potential and possibility for change through the practice of Reiki. Through a series of interviews\, the experience of different people around the world are shared in their effort to build healthy and thriving communities as they engage in change locally. \nAn Engaged Conversation follows each presentation. Participants are invited to share their experiences of effective ways to think and work together as we become an agent of change in the world. \nJanuary 15 Topic: Honoring the Community Building Work of Phyllis Lei Furumoto \n“Each of us as human beings are asked to contribute to the world something that moves humanity to its next step of development. Reiki gives us the opportunity to find out what that is for each of us and gives us the nourishment to develop into who we must become in order to make that contribution.” Phyllis Lei Furumoto. \nWe honor the work of Phyllis Lei Furumoto with respect to building community in Reiki. In this first webcast\, what it takes to do this work both on a personal level (the inner work) and on a physical level (the outer work) is explored. Phyllis wrote a series of articles about these aspects; some of her quotes will form the basis of our conversation. \nReiki Home\, itself\, is a developmental\, collaborative community that explores this question through its service and work as an organization.
