DESCRIPTION:Quantum Physics & Thermodynamics Are Used to Explain the Reiki Phenomenon\nThe Circle of Scholars is delighted to announce that  Francis Vendrell is our guest speaker. He will present on Reiki\, Biophysics and Spontaneous Order Creation – Quantum Physics and Thermodynamics are used to explain the Reiki Phenomenon. \nThis presentation introduces a new paradigm of Reiki based on scientific knowledge\, more precisely on quantum physics and thermodynamics. Contrary to the commonly held idea that reiki is an energy\, Reiki is understood here as a creative or negentropic physical principle acting within living beings. The restoration of well-being and health is then the result of electromagnetic transformative processes leading to more coherence and harmony\, in the vibrational or quantum sense\, in accordance with the principles of thermodynamics. It follows that the heat produced by the patient’s hands or body as commonly observed is not due to an injection of supposed energy but to the release of a dynamic disorder of a vibrational nature.  A scientific understanding of spirituality also emerges from this new Reiki paradigm. This presentation is based on ongoing research that should lead to the publication of a scientific paper. \nThe 2-hour presentation will include a presentation followed by a generous amount of time for a question/answer period and discussion. \nFrancis Vendrell is a Doctor of Physics\, Reiki teacher and Zen monk. From this combination of interests came a long quest to understand the nature of Reiki and its mechanisms of action on a scientific basis. He has been teaching the Reiki method in his school in Geneva (Switzerland) since 2000. He is also the current president of the SwissReiki association and of ERG (European Reiki Group).\n \n
