SUMMARY:CoS - Update on Reiki in Science - Recent Research
DESCRIPTION:In this Circle of Scholars offering\, Ann Linda Baldwin\, PhD will start by discussing why we need scientific research in Reiki\, giving a general review of the current state of Reiki research\, and how we can best evaluate its quality. The material presented in this section will draw on Ann’s book\, Reiki in Clinical Practice. A science-based guide. She will then move onto details of some of the best new research studies\, highlighting exciting findings and how they might benefit givers and receivers of Reiki. Finally\, she will address weaknesses in the current research and gaps in scientific Reiki knowledge that remain to be filled.

SUMMARY:Building Halthy Community
DESCRIPTION:Based upon a belief that collaborative communities are a key towards solving the challenges that humanity and earth face\, Robert Kramps and his guests explore the potential and possibility for change through the practice of Reiki. \nThe guests will share experiences of how they engage in change locally. An Engaged Conversation follows the presentation. Participants are invited to share their experiences of effective ways to think and work together as we become an agent of change in the world. \nYou are invited to join us as we continue to explore\, and live into\, this shift. Reiki Home\, itself\, is a developmental\, collaborative community that explores this question through its service and work as an organization. Together\, we are growing a sense of purpose and future possibility in communities. \nRecording: This presentation is recorded and will be available for purchase to the global community via Vimeo. The group discussion is not recorded nor shared.
