Circle of Scholars
This international, interdisciplinary group of doctoral-level academics includes representation from religious studies, ancient Buddhist studies, medical anthropology, library and archival science, and physiology. Together, they explore topics such as: Takata’s legacy, mythology and history; Japanese culture; Spirituality; Surrender; Anatomy of Initiation; and Neuropsychology. These webcasts began in 2019.
Members who have contributed to this Circle include: Ann Baldwin (USA), Dori Beeler (USA), Robert Fueston (USA), Jojan Jonker (The Netherlands), LIad Horowitz (Israel), and Justin Stein (Canada). Researchers from other disciplines are invited as guests to present their findings.

This series is an inclusive space which captures the unique perspectives from different practices and lineages. Each month a three-person panel explores the many layers of value embedded in Usui’s legacy from their own practice and perspective. This conversation further deepens our Reiki practice so that the global Reiki community engages in and develops an understanding of shared values.

Children and Reiki
This focus explores the emerging recognition that to create a better world we must begin with the children and youth. Based upon years of experience, seasoned practitioners share their stories and learnings about the nuances of treating children with long-term illnesses and special needs. Using the Superhero Reiki book, panelists discuss their experiences of teaching the Precepts to children and teachers in school. The collection contains stories, experiences, as well as the abstract and practical aspects of teaching and giving reiki to children, youth, and their families.
