It is our intention that your donation and registration process be easy and that instructions be clear.
 We serve many language communities and strive to create instructions that are clear and
 easy to understand for all.

We offer multiple platforms and ways to donate or pay for a registered event. International currency
is complicated. If our instructions below are not clear, please contact us. When you communicate
 and work with us to make the instructions clearer, the process becomes easier for everyone. We are 
grateful for your willingness to co-create with Reiki Home in service to the global community.

Please note that some platforms add a bank fee and may be more expensive than others. You may 
wish to explore several methods before making a decision. Please keep your receipt as it makes 
resolving a situation easier to process.

This is our preferred method due to our bookkeeping platform. It adds a fee which

Event Registration and Payment

 

Square – to register:

• Complete the registration form through Flipcause.
• Note the registration fee. This is the amount you will send
• Under the Total Charged, click the box Have a Promo Code.
• Insert the word Square in the blank space.The Total Charge will disappear.
• Complete registration.
• You will receive a Thank You Email and a Confirmation Email.
• Using Square, make your payment.

Wise.com – to register:

• Complete the registration form through Flipcause.
• Note the registration fee. This is the amount you will send.
• Under the Total Charged, click the box Have a Promo Code.
• Insert the word Wise in the blank space. The Total Charge will disappear.
• Complete registration.

Flipcause Solutions – International Credit & Debit Cards

Flipcause takes these cards: Mastercard, Visa,
 Discovery, and American Express. NOTE: American Express cards use the 4-digit security code on
the front. Other cards, use the 3-digit security code on the back.

• First Time Registration. You may want to notify your bank that Flipcause, Oakland, CA may
send a notice to your account to check if it is legitimate.
• Traveling outside your home country. The payment process can be easier if you notify
your bank that you are traveling and where you will be.

Flipcause Trouble shooting Error Messages

Reasons payment may be declined (this information is copied from Flipcause):


Invalid entry


• What happens: Credit card information (credit card number, security code, expiration date) 
is entered incorrect. A message will appear stating what needs to be corrected.
• Solution: Correct any typos, and try again.

Card declined


• What happens: A card can be declined by your bank due to
  • insufficient funds
  • expired card, due to a security placed by your bank on the card
  • when the card used is not valid because the account was closed.
  • If any of these reasons are present, you will see a message that your card was 
declined.
• Solutions:
  • Try a different card.
  • Call your bank, request any restrictions be lifted
  • Try again.

Blocked by Reiki Home security settings


• What happens: This is rare, and only applies if Reiki Home set blocks for specific countries.
 NOTE: Reiki Home has not taken this action for any country.
• Solution: If a message says “Payment Failure: Contact Reiki Home to complete the
payment”, Email us and add Flipcause Payment Failure in the Subject line.

Blocked by Flipcause security filters

• What happens: Nonprofit donation pages are targets for fraudulent credit card charge
  attempts. Flipcause blocks 99% of these attempts. Occasionally, their security filters block a
  legitimate payment.
• Solution: Try using a different card. If there are persistent issues or you suspect an
  error, Email Us. Put Security Block on Payment in the email subject line.
