Donation and Event Payment Instructions

It is our intention that your payment and registration process is easy. We serve many language communities and strive to create instructions that are understandable for all. If these steps are not clear, contact us. Use the words Registration Info in the Email Subject.

We offer multiple platforms and ways to donate and/or to pay for a registered event.

Flipcause is our registration platform for all events and our preferred payment method. However, it only takes international credit & debit cards: Visa, Mastercard, Discovery, and American Express. European bank cards will not work with this platform.
Square is a platform similar to PayPal and may be used for donations or to pay for a registered event. See registration instructions below. You will need to establish an account.
Wise is an International online money transfer platform and processes foreign currencies. We have established accounts for USD (inside and outside the USA), Canadian, Euro, GBP (Great British Pound), and AUD (Australia). You need to establish an account to send donations or registration payments. Scroll to the end of the page for the bank information.

Flipcause Event Registration

International Credit & Debit Cards – Only international credit and debit cards are accepted e.g. Mastercard, Visa, Discovery, and American Express. NOTE: American Express cards use the 4-digit security code on the front. Other cards, use the 3-digit security code on the back. Complete the registration process and use your card. European bank cards will not work with this platform.

First Time Registration. You may want to notify your bank that Flipcause, Oakland, CA may send a notice to your account to check if it is legitimate.

Traveling outside your home country. The payment process can be easier if you notify your bank that you are traveling and where you will be.

Troubleshooting Error Messages from Flipcause – Reasons your payment may be declined:

1) Invalid entry

What happens: Credit card information (credit card number, security code, expiration date) is entered incorrect. A message will appear stating what needs to be corrected.

Solution: Correct any typos, and try again.

2) Card declined

What happens: A card can be declined by your bank due to

- insufficient funds
- expired card, due to a security placed by your bank on the card
- when the card used is not valid because the account was closed.
- If any of these reasons are present, you will see a message that your card was declined.

Solutions:

- Try a different card.
- Call your bank, request any restrictions be lifted
- Try again.

3) Blocked by Reiki Home security settings

What happens: This is rare, and only applies if Reiki Home set blocks for specific countries.

NOTE: Reiki Home has not taken this action for any country.

Solution: If a message says “Payment Failure: Contact Reiki Home to complete the payment. Email us and add Flipcause Payment Failure in the Subject line.

4) Blocked by Flipcause security filters

What happens: Nonprofit donation pages are targets for fraudulent credit card charge attempts. Flipcause blocks 99% of these attempts. Occasionally, their security filters block a legitimate payment.

Solution: Try using a different card. If there are persistent issues or you suspect an error, Contact Us. Put Security Block on Payment in the email subject line.

Square Event Registration and Payment

To register, please follow these steps:

Fill out the registration form through Flipcause. Note the total registration fee. You will need this amount to pay by Square.
Under the Total Charged, click the box Have a Promo Code.
- Insert the word Square in the blank. The Total Charge will disappear.
- Complete registration. You will receive a Thank You Email and Confirmation Email.
Payment.
- Open your Square account.
- Enter the registration fee total when you registered.
- Send payment to Reiki Home. Keep the receipt in case there is a question.

Wise Event Registration and Payment

To register, please follow these steps:

Complete the registration form through Flipcause. Note the total registration fee. This is the amount you will send through Wise.
Under the Total Charged, click the box Have a Promo Code.
- Insert the word Wise in the blank. The Total Charge will disappear.
- Complete registration. You will receive a Thank You Email and Confirmation Email.
Payment.
- Open your Wise account.
- Complete the steps as instructed. Keep the receipt in case there is a question

Check/Cheque, Money Order, Cashier’s Check

If you wish to pay be a check/cheque, money order or cashier’s check, please follow these steps:

Register through Flipcause.
- Fill out the registration form.
- Note the total registration fee.
Under the Total Charged, click the box Have a Promo Code.
- Insert the word Check /cheque in the blank. Your Total Charged will disappear.
- Finish your registration. You will receive a Thank You Email and a Confirmation Email.
